The promises of Our Lord to those who are devoted to His Sacred Heart.

Our Lord Jesus Christ has promised many blessings to those who are devoted to His Sacred Heart. It is clearly said that without Jesus we are unable to do anything and so His blessings are extremely necessary for us. We cannot think of a Christian life without the blessings of Our Holy Lord. The twelve promises of Our Lord to St. Margaret Mary are worthy of deep contemplation.

The Twelve Promises of Jesus to Saint Margaret Mary for those devoted to His Sacred Heart:

1. I will give them all the graces necessary for their state of life.

2. I will establish peace in their families.

3. I will console them in all their troubles.

4. They shall find in My Heart an assured refuge during life and especially at the hour of their death.

5. I will pour abundant blessings on all their undertakings.

6. Sinners shall find in My Heart the source of an infinite ocean of mercy.

7. Tepid souls shall become fervent.

8. Fervent souls shall speedily rise to great perfection.

9. I will bless the homes where an image of My Heart shall be exposed and honored.

10. I will give to priests the power of touching the most hardened hearts.

11. Those who propagate this devotion shall have their names written in My Heart, never to be effaced.

12. The all-powerful love of My Heart will grant to all those who shall receive Communion on the First Friday of nine consecutive months the grace of final repentance; they shall not die under my displeasure, nor without receiving their Sacraments; My heart shall be their assured refuge at that last hour.

"Look at this Heart which has loved men so much, and yet men do not want to love Me in return. Through you my divine Heart wishes to spread its love everywhere on earth."

It is impossible not to kindle love in the hearts of those who contemplate upon these priceless promises of Jesus. Therefore, from today onwards let us deposit all our love in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and reap benefits from all these promises.

I fly unto thee O my Jesus, who is worthy of all love; behold us prostrate most humbly before Your altar. It is true that in the past I have strayed away from your Sacred Heart and the promises it offers to its devotees; because of my spiritual and physical weaknesses and dubious nature I have pursued creatures and not the creator. O sweet Sacred Heart of Jesus! When you examine our sinful heart, how much pain your Sacred Heart suffers. O My heart! My sinful heart! Remove all attachments to worldly creatures and love your Creator’s graceful Heart. Sacred Heart of Jesus, wellspring of all treasures! I love you and I adore you, I love Your Sacred Heart more than all the goodness in this world and heaven. Lord, make me worthy of all your promises.

Grant to Your Church, O Lord, assurance of freedom, protect our Supreme Pontiff and make haste that all may know the haven of truth, and have unity of faith, so that there may soon be one fold and one Shepherd! Lord, be merciful to the unfortunate sinners, console the souls in Purgatory and be merciful to me, your unworthy servant. O Immaculate Heart of Mary, O Mother of all blessings, I firmly believe that through your powerful intercession, all my prayers and petitions will be granted. Amen.
